The ACT is a standardised test that helps universities compare you to other students in the applicant pool. The ACT has four sections: English, Reading, Math, and Science. It’s a three-hour exam that requires students to answer questions quickly! For international students, this exam is only offered on a computer.

The ACT is used just like the SAT in the application review process. Students only need to prepare for one exam! The content covered is similar to the SAT. Though the science section seems to be distinct, an experienced tutor will explain that this is really another critical reading section that asks you to interpret data.
The ACT is offered more times than the SAT and is thus, often, more convenient for students. Below, you will find a list of registration and exam dates.
